Cool got ya thanks for the info a new grower like me can use all the info i can get ;)

if your going to give them a try, get them with the tray for the first time like this
ytiFIou.jpg

it's a little cheaper to buy the replacement plugs, but still not cheap like seed starting potting mix

i find they work fantastic for seedlings or cuttings. they allow you to bottom water the whole tray at once, and they wick up water as they need it. It's kinda spongy like and provides a great ratio of air to water for the root zone

here's an old pic (2016) of a yellow Bubblegum cutting after 5 days

when i tried them out in the Aerogarden, i had to cut them to fit, but they worked great in there too

Good luck this season!

Killer list and mo work for you ;)

Bhut that;s the fun in it all
ha, i wish i would/could say it was no work...

even if i were to only grow 1 kind, there is work involved... (i'm sure you know this) but i am stating this for others reading as well.

while peppers potentially grow like weeds, I have learned through the years, that they all have their slight differences.
Sometimes it is these differences that keeps me intrigued, wanting to learn more, and willing to try the same varietal again, maybe even in a different medium.

well some have done better than others, but most of them seem like they didnt even really want to slow down   thermostat is set at 62 and they are getting 1000W HPS and a couple CFL's and a small LED for the corners
lots of new growth, and some winter fruits

thanks for stopping by to check out my Glog

Got the plugs working great couple more question GIP how long can they stay in the plugs and once I transplant them do I have to remove the plant from the plug or can they stay in the plug with potting mix to fill the new cup or pot I put them in?

Pedal to the metal, GIP!  I'm going to have to
give the rapid rooters a try.  I want to try rock
wool, too in the 2019 season.

I've tried both Root Riot plugs (same thing, different brand) and rockwool.
FWIW, I liked the plugs a lot more. Easier to use and better success rates.
