Peter's 2018 grow log

Ferment time. Trying to clear out the freezer a little. These were all vac sealed. Letting them thaw a little first.

Thanks Dane. I pretty much pulled everything red out of the freezer, has a mix of Rocoto, Elysium Oxide SB, Brainstrain, Kpakpo Shito x BBG, Red Mayan Hab, Tazmanian Hab, Brainstrain, Cereja da Amapa, Indian PC-1, Reaper x Moruga, BTR, and maybe a few others. After it ferments for a week or two, I'm going to process it through a single auger masticating juicer, along with a bunch of apples and garlic, and a couple limes. I'll add more cane sugar, some acv and cook it down really well.

Thanks. Yes, it's my cross, first time growing it. I'll post how it does throughout the season. So far the plant looks more Stravos like. Hoping to get multi-colored peperoncini type peppers with extra heat :)

I have been growing Stavros a few yrs now...very interested Peter.
 
Will watch for results and updates.

Interesting cross! I grew both blue christmas and stavros last year. Blue christmas is a real beauty and stavros is a delicious pepper to eat raw!

Yes, I ran it through a food mill first. Measured the remaining liquid and added 25% acv. Added some other stuff too, but that was my ratio of vinegar. It had juice from 2 limes and a lemon too. Final pH was 3.4.
