Hello From Japan

Hello from Japan!

I am from the Midwest but have not dabbled into farming since moving to Japan, other than rice :)

Due to my love of peppers and spicy food in general I have started to grow some peppers. I travel the world for my work so I have been collecting seeds from my favorite peppers. Right now I have started Carolina Reaper's, Jalapeno's, Guam Boonie, Habanero, and Sili Chili from the Philippines.

I look forward to sharing my experiences growing here in Japan.

welcome! i'd say get in touch with Filmost, a user who lives in one of the tokyo prefectures, but he hasn't been around in a little over a year i don't think

Hello and welcome, i like most Japan made stuff..But sushi is not my thing.

I didn't really like Sushi when i came here but it grows on you. You just have to try the fresh stuff. I prefer spicy stuff which is not too common here. I got my Wife (Japanese) liking tacos so she likes a little heat.

Like the cute voice those pretty Japanese women make and i like their looks too, so good for you! Have you tried making some Chili con carne for your wife and then served it with some rice?

Not Yet! it is hard to get all the ingredients out here. we mostly just make chicken tacos. I will have to search around and get the stuff but will definitely try it out.

You can use some minced meat in it or some other stuff to make a simple Chili con carne.
