[Feb 5] What are you working on this week?

This weekend I counted 25 overwintered peppers so I did some pruning on all of them and it looks like spring is in the air here as we are having day time temps in the 70's. My nectarine tree is in full bloom with pink blossoms. I made a couple raised beds 4x4 and 3x3 for tomatoes and I have a few 15 gallon containers I will be using for them as well. I'm going to put some MOA seeds in the ground outdoors so I don't have to deal with lights and hardening off this year. They are really the only pepper that I want this season that is not overwintered. I might put some choc hab seeds in the ground as well. My yard is prepped and ready for the season. :)

I've been home since Wednesday nursing a back injury and have been busy with contractors coming and going. The laundry room floor has a ton of water damage that is getting fixed today. Our house was painted last week but some paint in the back area got washed away in a rain shower, so now I have to get them back out here to fix that and do some touch up work on a few other areas.

The garden is all planned out this year and I should be planting seeds shortly. TGCM sent me a ton of pube seeds so they are going to have their own little place specifically for them.

Chelsea and I are also working out the details for our trip to Maine in September. We're going to Acadia national park and staying in a little tiny cabin on someone's farm for a portion of the trip.

All of my rude guests yesterday left all these beers in my garage fridge, so I guess I have to take care of that problem now. The nerve of some people..

My first 288 seeds hit the dirt on 2/1, so I'm watching temps and moisture this week. Annuum seeds will follow at the end of the month. I still need to build a seedling area at our new house, so I may start that this week. With temps so warm this year, it may be in the garage.

Been vacuum packing. Got a 40lb food order of dried fruit, nuts and seeds and doing some fresh fruit. Organic Bananas and Pumpkin fresh goes into the freezer, frozen bananas work great in smoothie they break up easy. Gonna fry up some pumpkin later, maybe Pumpkin Omelet lol.
