fermenting Mash re-use

I've been meaning to reuse my food-milled mash and my hot sauce making time finally collided with my jerky

I got a dehydrator for that same reason. After I pass the mash through the mill twice (using different greates) I spread the mash on the dehydrator discs. After that I take the sheets of mash and ground them in a mortar and pestel.
