Haha, thanks dude. Here's a reason though:

I've had horrendous germination rates. It's been over a month too. I really think "something" happened to my personal seed stock, because I've had 0% germination with my own seeds. Seeds I've acquired from other people have germinated fine, but I also think it might've had something to do with my seed starting mix. Same stuff I always use (MG Seed Starting mix w/ additional perlite), but I grabbed a bag off a pallet at Home Cheapo that looked like it'd been sitting outside all Winter long.

Still doesn't explain my seeds not sprouting though. Everything was properly dried (air dried on coffee filters), then stored in ziplock bags. Dunno. Honestly, I've got too much shit going on right now to even care, sadly. I'm probably gonna end up ordering some seedlings online this year, and start my seed stock from scratch next year

Apologies to anyone that I gifted/traded seeds with. I feel like an idiot, lol. Hopefully you'll have better results than I did. Really sorry if you're in the same boat I am :cheers:

I know what you mean about bad germination rates. I’m about 1 for 20 on my attempts. With my saved seeds, but I don’t have the most ideal equipment to get great success. [emoji21]
Good thing I have about 4 places I can buy plants from. The cheapest is our local grocery store 4 plants for $1.19 no tax. For that kind of money I try to get them in the ground early, if frost gets them I’m not out too much money. [emoji846]

Mike really sorry to read your germination rates ... let me know what seed you need for next season and I shall send a pile out to you. Hopefully you can locally source some good plugs and continue to make those cracking sauces of yours

Not giving up! If I'm being optimistic about it (very rare for me, lol), I can say that now I don't have to worry about the hassle of babying dozens and dozens of tiny sprouts and worrying about aphids, etc. One less thing to worry about

(although I am going to keep the ones that did sprout)

I'm gonna order some plugs, and it'll all be 'good in the hood' come plant out time :party:

Damn that sucks. Nothing wrong with plugs tho, hope you can find some douglahs, choco scotch, and MOAs to keep your sauces going

Gutted about your germination rates as just catching up with your glog , ( sent pm before reading this ) glad your not giving up ....and plugs will still give you a good and fruitful grow , like wise with John ( Trident ) if theres any seed stock you need just shout us and were get a package over to you mate .... Chin up ....

Thanks everyone. Yeah, it sucks, but, what are you gonna do? I've been so busy lately that everything that did sprout is dead anyway. Whole tray completely dried out from being in the same room as my pellet stove. Everything shriveled up and died

Hey Mike, I've got quite a few extra Annuums. Think you'd be interested in any? I've got two kinds of Jalapenos, Pequins, Goat's Weed and Macedonian Rezha peppers.
