Hello from East Tennessee

Hi, my name is Tristan and I am a N. IL native who moved down here approx. 3 years ago to save some money and one of the few perks here is the climate during grow season and the extra duration before first and last frost; and as for the godawful humidity-at least the plants benefit from it!
I am originally from DeKalb IL born and raised and have always been into and around gardening and propogation, as well as all sciences including plant biology. Heck, I was one of the very few kids who would stay after at middle school for "plant club"! Lol! I ended up going to college at NIU and studied health and human sciences securing a B.S. in Public Health and a minor in Chemistry as well as a minor in Biology. Science is my life force to keep on going even when I'm in a terrible rut in my life, and life can feel wasted but at least there's always new things to learn and be captivated/looking forward to as long as ya have some money;
Luckily plants are inherently cheap (well-depends how deep ya go!). Finally going to do my first grow here in TN and have been on the prowl for a community of individuals with the same passion for peppers! Looks like I found it. I Am looking forward to meeting people and getting the goods(info)! Maybe I'll find another pepper head in my area? Anyways sorry for the ramble but that's me! Thanks!
-Tristan
