As I don't really do glogs, I thought I'd share a few pictures of my hauls this season.

This is the first major haul so far, I've been picking ripe pods here and there, but this one was a bulk lot.

TYaEP5i.jpg

Sugar Rush Cream, Purple UFO, Trinidad Perfume x Trinidad Seasoning, Pimenta Puma, WirriWirri Round, Orange Aji Fantasy, Bahamian Goat, Yellow Cayenne, Bulgarian Carrot, Aji Cito, Bhut x Cayenne, Calabrese Mazzetti, Purple Haze and a mixture of Rocoto and Mini Rocoto.

Looking good, but unless my laptop colour scheme is off, I can't see any purple coloured peppers :)

I find Purple peppers picked purple still have a green inner, and a grassy taste. I prefer my peppers picked ripe for their true "ripened" taste. So yes, the purples here are actually red.

I don't post much on here regarding my grow each season, but if you check out the Glogs in the grow section I'm sure you'll find some great information.

Thanks, the taste is very similar to Trinidad Perfume. It has a sweet, slightly fruity but mostly floral taste much like many yellow pods. Lower 2/3 has little to no heat (for me), and probably a very mild heat at the top. Would be great for salads or salsa.

Here's another haul picked this arvo. Peach wasp, Trinidad Perfume x Trinidad Seasoning, Purple UFO, Papa Dreadie S/B, Stuffing S/B, Rocoto's, Yellow Jalapenos, Jimmy Nardello, Sugar Rush cream, Orange gum Tiger MAMP, Cream Fatalii, and an unknown choc variety.

I only managed to scratch the surface of what needs to be picked, hopefully I will get around to more tomorrow.

Holy moly, SR! Now THAT'S a haul! Beautiful Goats. Heck, they're all beautiful and I like the white table for photography. The pods really stand out. Great job!

excellent Haul there mate

it looks like my Trinidad Perfume x Trinidad Seasoning was really productive.  How many plants of that cross did you grow out this year ?

that Orange Aji Fantasy in the upper right looks like CANDY   :drooling:  :drooling:
is that Fruxim right beneath them ?

that pile O' Pubes though     :metal:

they all look great

Thanks for the kind words guys.

Those Trinidad Perfume x Trinidad Seasoning you can see are actually Cream Fatalii, they are more of a peach color though. The orange Aji Fantasy are sweet AF, and are begging to be candied. And yes, those are Fruxim beneath them.

I keep saying this but my Pubes are more out of control than an 80's porn star.  The best pods happen in winter, many of the ones I'm getting now are a little small. I spent 2hrs deseeding them today and only got half way through that pile. The struggles are real.
