HBJ 2018

Should have more time for gardening this year as I am not working for the company, but self employed finally.

Wanted to hit 100 varieties this season but came up short with just 76.  Not sure if they will all germ anyways.  Got many more varieties from the trains I rode and from ones I grew in the past, but they didn't really speak to me when I took the extra time to dig into them.

Two years and 3 months....I think this baby is ready to become sauce!!!

Most of my peppers came up.  Big bombs did not. Great little stuffing peppers.  Seeds from Reimer and I've had trouble with them before.  Cascabella, Thai, and a couple others didn't make it due to me using some old seeds I had here just to try these peppers out again.  Not a big loss.

Some peppers are running late as I had some germ issues.  Partly my fault as I didn't have it warm enough to start with.

Gonna try to share some pics from fb.

Peppers are now in the dirt.  Ended up with 9 of my 10 Aji peppers making it.  Can't remember, but one didn't germ.  Not a real big fan of the Baccatum flavor, but I believe they're not all from that group.

The orange and pink tigers are an interesting looking plant. Will try to get some pics up later.

Picture time.

That was my bed that fell apart on me.  Didn't need it this year, so I am in no hurry to repair it.

Very nice. Do you plan to preserve or do you just eat fresh? Cuz that's a lot of beans.
