For the first question, yes, they do; It'll look the same, just less intense.

As for the second question, I think there are a lot of variables at play here like how long you'll be growing it, whether you're hydro or soil, etc. I don't think it'd be too hard to fill out a small tent with a single plant in hydro. The pepper experts can probably answer this better than I can though.
