And it doesn't have to be mexican.
 
I put ever dang 'thang on a flour or corn tortilla.
 
Thats a taco.
 
Make a bigger taco.
 
Thats a burrito.
 
Its all good.
 
Ever had a brisket and egg breakfast taco?
 
How about a sun dried tomato, goat cheese, roasted garlic, pequin, and refried bean taco?
 
The rules are this.
 
Keep it flour or corn.
 
Home made or store bought.
 
If you post a pita taco I will like you but then unlike you.
 
And then probably still like you again if it looks really good.
 
Get crazy.
 
 
Lime cilantro chicken thighs with pequin powder.
 
I love pequins.
 
Flat topped.
 
Like a naval aircraft carrier.

It's true though, if you went into a fish and chip takeaway shop here, and ordered a burger with the lot, you would definitely get beetroot.

The market had 80/20 ground chuck on sale so it was hard to pass up. Came out to about $2.50/lb. Drain off the extra fat about half way through the browning. I just spoon out what i could without getting to carried away with it. There was still a nice amount of fat left. The Burma Spice panca powda has a little more zip than my homegrown. I thought it worked great. Im growing way more of them this year than i did last year.

even Toast  :lol: that wasn't delicous,
The choice of things inside the taco might not have always been delicious
but it wasnt the Taco part that i didnt like
like ever.

Taco meat experiment #2...wont be having any today i just need to get it cooked or toss it in the freezer.
 
1.75lbs ground chuck
1 10oz can Ro-Tel diced maters and green chiles (Original)
1 4oz can Great Value jalapenos...love these because they are not pickled.
1 sorta large red shallot
1 Pack Mrs Dash Taco seasoning
Some panca powder, salt, cumin and Mex Oregano to taste.
