Grass Snake's Garden 2018

Here are some photos of what's growing so far. Trying a little bit of everything this year. The goal is to grow as much food as I can at home instead of buying from the store. This will most likely be just a picture glog because I'm horrible at documenting progress.

Trimmed up the pecan tree before it started getting leaves. The best cooking wood in my opinion

This is the backyard only. I've got a bunch of stuff growing in the front and the side yard that I'll take pictures of and post later. Good luck to everyone this growing season.

Good on ya for having success with the greens this year. I'm going to start them later than we normally do, due to the army worms that trashed them this fall :tear:
Sorry to hear hopefully they won't cause you problems this year. Army worms eat anything it seems. Sucks when they get ahold of the lawn too..

How did you do with the cold front we just got?

It hailed just South of us and today has been pretty dang windy!

The weather has not been friendly this year that's for sure. All my plants are hanging in there toughing it all out but not much progress in terms of growth.

how do you use it? Where is a good place for seeds? I think it would be fun to roll my own cigars.

The goal is to grow a good wrapper or filler. This is my first year growing tobacco so there is still alot to learn. You can buy seeds at newhopeseed.com or victoryseeds.com both reputable sources.
