                This year I decided to go with Baker creek as last year I had pretty terrible results with Pepper Joes. Not sure how much was my fault or the seeds but I feel like I’ve always had better germination rates in the past. I used a combination of Jiffy Pellets and a few in the paper napkin and baggie method. By far I get better results with the Jiffy pellets this year. So Far I have about a 95% Germ rate this year and That’s Damn good enough for me! The Reapers were little ass holes and took almost 5 full weeks to even sprout but patients was my game and low and behold they showed there little faces after all.
                I have a full list of vegetables I am also starting indoors in my Office/Grow room so Space is very limited until I get all my peppers and toms out of the way to make room for my strictly indoor peppers.
This year I have been using a 6 bulb bank of T8 lights for germ and sprouting and after a few days they get moved to the 400 Watt MH Table. The Table also has a 400 Watt HPS hanging over it too that I really only fire up when the plants are all pretty good size. I only use Fish emulsion and Epsom salt for nutes with the occasional Miracle grow (I know, I know) I don’t have the funds to go buy the Flora series (I have used before and swear by that stuff)
                That’s about all I have for now. I plan to keep this updated as things progress mainly for my own personal records. Hope you enjoy. Tips, advice and feedback are all greatly appreciated fellow Pepper heads!

I won't knock miracle grow, even though I'm in the transitional organic period.

Miracle grow done me good in past years;

That's 100% a miracle grow year - miracle grow potting soil, with miracle grow liquid fertilizer once they went in the garden.

Good luck this year! Should be a great year for you!

Aphids have got into my grow room somehow...Literally have no clue how. Im guessing from a bag of dirt I bought a few weeks ago. Battling them is a nightmare. Neem and dish soup is not doing the trick. it slows them..but its not killing it. its actually killing my plants. Im not sure what Im doing wrong here but I have usually been able to beat them with a few squirts over a few days. Pretty frustrated. cant wait for dirt day so I can scrub the room and start fresh with my indoor peppers this year. any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

So far this season no stankin' Aphids. But I've had them in the past. I isolate the plants that have Aphids and treat them with fertilome triple action. It usually takes 2 applications; I've had good success with this product.
