Aji Cito plant is getting bigger and bigger with a lot of new pods forming.
About 1.9 m high.

That is a real beast, Jacques! Your raised beds
and grow 'tent' are obviously just the ticket!

These are a comparison of the plant i originally chose. the small heat effected chilli's and my other plant. much healthier pods.

considering i have about 15grams off of my original plant if there are no objections i will start using pods from my other plant. these are the first mature pods from that plant. i don't think i will be contending for champion chilli grower any time soon.

Current total of 46 pods so far, 183g. Only the bottom 1/3 of my plant is flowering so far, but the other older peppers in the greenhouse are going crazy with fruit, this one can't be far along. Many, many green pods.

I decided to count and weigh my jalapenos as well, I've wondered how much I produce. I have eight plants, but two per growing container so half the number would probably be just as productive. About half way through the main season so far, though they grow until mid winter in the greenhouse. I've harvested 4.4kg of jalapeno, 274 of them.

Pic is of most of the citos, and maybe 1/3 of the jalapenos I've picked. The rest have been smoked and dried or given away.

I just went back through this thread to the middle of December to try to get some totals together, if there are any before that I am not going back any further.

Sorry if I missed anyone.

Some of you blokes have been a bit slack giving updates and weigh ins, I hope you haven't given up.

In order that I found them working back from the latest post:

timnz...........................183g

bob65..........................766g

High Country Crow......43g

karoo...........................779g

Damn that's neck and neck with Karoo. Only 13g difference

I got some ripe fruit coming on soon, but went though a weird dormant stage.

I'll prob update during the week with a weigh in.

You say neck and neck, but I have seen the photos of how good his plant looks.

I have noticed lately that even though there are still lots of pods on the plant, they seem to be smaller when they ripen.
