Looking for some chinenses charm

Tried last year to grow the ghost, and some bashful vermin creeping by mangled and murdered it.
Have a 7cm baby with several pairs of true leafs, and I've made the somewhat maddening decision to top it - which I have never really attempted with any other plant. Ever.
This one is staying indoors for now but eventually must be strong enough to face those shadowy nights to maximize the brilliant 9b rays.

So I find myself reading through this forum* and finding out how to arm my Bhut Jolokia to tackle the dangers of this world and return licked fiery in it's enterprising curl towards the sun.
I can only hope this year's bounty will erase the scars of yesteryear.

Hello and thank you all for this community of hot heads.

Nice intro. I'm in the same zone as you. Look into a shade cloth. Welcome!
