I need to get the rest of my crops dialed in. All your stuff is looking good
I’m sure you’ll get it dialed in. Fall back on experience but always try new stuff. I’ve been gardening over 40 years(not counting helping my mother as a kid). I always try to have a few extra plants to experiment on and if they croak in the process, so be it. That’s how I got started with Kratky stuff. I probably will never do a complete grow that way but it’s fun to mess around with it and grow some big fruit laden plants with no dirt involved, not to mention no electricity, pumps, or the other things needed for the so called real hydro grow.

I think I have to add another new(to me) tomato to the list of ones that I like. I like tomatoes with a sweeter taste and this is the first one larger than a cherry tomato that I have grown that is real sweet. I got the seeds as a free sampler pack when i ordered some other stuff. The tomatoe is called Pretty In Pink, I got the seeds here. https://www.seedsnsuch.com/product/pretty-pink-hybrid-tomato-vft/

It is this plant in the Kratky.

Wow!  Your garden is amazing!  I'm so jealous....mine is such a bust this year, with all the rain we've had.  I just went out and bought some Roma tomatoes, and it's killing  me to have to buy tomatoes!   :banghead:

Thank you. I try to experiment a little every year, then try to remember what worked better and try to forget the bad results. Sorry to hear your tomatoes didn’t do well, I think I have more than I will get processed. Probably because I planted too many plants!

I know that feeling!  Last year, I had 17 tomato plants and went on a 10 day vacation right about the time they should have been suckered.  I was overwhelmed when I came home and that's when I developed my oven-roasted tomato sauce.  This year, I put in 7 plants and they all croaked!

Finally taking the time to plant out the asparagus that I started from seed. And no, old guys do not dig a bunch of holes by hand!
