Is this for real?!

I'm not a collector either and have a bottle. I wouldn't sell it for $500 let alone $99.
PS. Technically this makes you a collector. ;)

Would for me
Awesome!
Now that we've determined value, are you interested?
How would you like to pay? Cash, check, money order, PayPal, prepaid Visa, gift cards or barter?
I'll sign it and # it for an additional $666, a half tank of gas and $5 scratch off lottery ticket.

I haven't had it, but certainly now I'd like to. Wouldn't conceive of paying such prices but in the same breath have to acknowledge someone's genius in driving up the price and have folks pay it. I'm telling my age, but anyone else remember "Billy Beer?" President Carter's brother had some crappy beer and long before the internet,  somehow or "someone" put forth the idea it was scarce and worth great money.... even the empty cans sold for high dollars. A complete sham, but I suppose the bumbling brother made bank...

I would love to call foul, but did you hear that Warrant Man sauce is being pulled from the market because of International drug ties? Some still available, for three easy payments of $19.99 and one incredibly hard payment of $99.99

What's the difference between this and the one they have on sale now?

Seems with all the talented sauce makers here this could be re-created easily?

Probably just creative marketing on someone's part, kudos there...  If you are interested I've got some genuine "Babe Ruth" cigar butts for sale... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Babe_Ruth

https://www.coronacigar.com/Blog/For-Serious-Babe-Ruth-Fans-Who-Already-Have-Everything/

Some links and internet proof... small butt - $150, larger one $300, need more just give me a week or so....I have a connection, I can...uhm...get some....

$20 for 5 ounces of hot sauce is high enough.

I have this in my fridge and will only buy more at original price or less. Cooking with frozen pods is better than using hot sauce anyway.

It might be legit but an eBay listing can very easily be fake and there are no reviews yet.

Actually, the product itself has no counterfeit protection.

It would not be very hard for someone to produce a super-hot sauce using other super-hot peppers and extract, bottle in similar bottles, stick counterfeit labels on them and sell them as originals. Not many have tasted "Pepper X" or this sauce so most people have no clue if the sauce in question is original or not.

There is also the question of how were these bottles acquired; the seller could be a victim of counterfeit products too. The store in the link seems to sell mostly sports shoes, so there is not much ground to support that they are some kind of hot sauce experts.

I would advise not to buy unless their authenticity can be verified.
