Greetings!

Glad to find this place and meet all of you! I was searching for peppers I came across while stationed (and living as a civilian) in Okinawa. At the time, I did not think gardening would ever be a thing for me. As my 30's come to a close, I find myself stuck in the dirt most days when I have free time. The planting and care of plants, especially ones to eat of course, has become an insatiable hobby. Not quite a perma-culturist, but heavy influence from Fukoka-san and his "One Straw Revolution" book. I am interested in growing many MANY kinds of peppers as I have always loved spicy food, and this seems to be a good group to find like minded folks.  :onfire:

Right off the bat, I am looking for someone stateside that has some shima tōgarashi seeds. I would be glad to talk via private email for trade, though I literally just started my garden and all of mah seeds are in the ground. I am sure we can work something out!
Also would like some advice for peppers that would be good to plant end of year. I am in FL so growing season is as long as I want it to be with a greenhouse lol. I have never really contemplated much on pepper growing seasons, but I imagine there must be some cool winter varieties!
