Hello, all! Been absent for a while, but I've pulled a few pods here and there.

EDIT:
Oh, after years of wilting maters, they went in pots this year. Tomato-city now!

Pretty darn big, too.

Last season I crossed a big sweet bell pepper with a piri piri. Today I just harvested my first fruit from the f1's. The smaller is a dried piri piri from the mother plant for size compassion.
Hows the taste?

I just tried some, it tastes exactly like a bell pepper but not as sweet and it has a nice heat to it, it was mostly burning at the back of my mouth and throat. The walls (if that's the right word) of this pepper are also thick like a sweet bell pepper. I have 16 f1's growing and they all look the same, however this is the first ripe fruit so I will have to try all the plants to see if they taste the same
