Hi all,

Just wanted to introduce myself. I am very much a small scale hobbyist. I grow all of my plants indoors in pots. Started out with a single birds eye chilli around 6 years ago and now have around 14 varieties. It's a very addictive thing this chilli growing!

I have got that I know of 6 varieties that are mine. They are: Birds Eye, Thai Super, Jalapeno, Hungarian Wax, Scotch Bonnet and Cayenne. I have got about 8 different species growing now which I don't know the history of or what they are. They were given to me by a friend and they were mixed seeds in an envelope simply marked 'Hot Chilli'. I have decided to pot them and they all look very different! No idea what they are which is quite fun.
