Crap!!

My kitten's a chili fanatic!! I have my grow room cracked open with a folding chair stuffed in the closet just enough for ventilation and to keep my cat out and he still finds his way in at night. My Hanoi Red keep's getting attacked and my Naga's get bite marks in them. I noticed him running around the room in circles in the house and drooling, but he keeps playing with them and biting them. I think he's an addict!!:hell: Anyone else have pet's like this?

P.S.- Sorry I haven't been on much lately. I've been bowhunting deer. I lost a beautiful 8 pt yesterday and he came in with a massive 10 on state land near my house. Won't talk on here about the details, but I feel bad. I found out today that my sights were off on my bow(Shifted somehow bumping them or something). They were perfect last week and I could consistantly shoot a 2-3inch group right on at 30 yards last week and I found out today practicing after the fact and found out my bow was shooting 6 inches high and to the right. Not good when shots are critical. Anywho, that's my update with what's going on. Sorry I've been gone so much. I take my bowhunting seriously. I've gotta get some venison. I'm heading out in the morning if the weathers right.

P.S.S.- I had a few beers and Defcon 1-DMMK mix wings too..lol!

sorry to hear about the plants & the 8pt, I've seen some deer but never close enough or get busted when I've went, I'm gonna have to rely on the gun season to get mine this year.

Yeah my cats oddly a chilihead I believe and I'm bummed about that deer. I fealt really bad and still do, but man kind has dealt with that dilemma for thousands of years. Shoulder hits with a bow aren't good and I tracked him for over a mile before I gave up my search:( If it was firearm season he would have dropped in his tracks. Good luck Chilihunter and don't give up. Just remember the more time you spend hunting the better. That's the biggest trick in hunting. ESPECIALLY deer!! My bows back on right on and things will be better next time. I would have rather missed. I'm a hunter, but if I had a choice between hitting one not so good and missing I'd rather miss. Sucks!! I still have sympathy and I'm a hunter. We're a part of nature though and sometimes those deer are tougher than heck and just survive no matter what. There will to live is so strong it's amazing!

I've only lost 1 a couple years ago (so far, knock on wood) I felt really bad too.
I know what you mean about loosing game & their will to live, I've seen 1st hand & pictures & talk with other hunters. but dont think we should get into "those" stories here since most are not hunters here.

Tis true. We can relate though. I feel the same way. I also thought of that, but I've been drinking. While I'm not ashamed of what I do, I realize most can be sensitive to it. Agreed. Now about that cat;)

Well, the little B@#TARD got in there again!! My bhut seedling was laying sideways on the ground with teeth marks in the leaves, and my hanoi red is beat to hell again. I think I'm going to have to create something else to keep that bugger out of there!! Oh, also on a side note. Didn't mean to bother anyone with the deer story. I was buzzed, upset and venting. Chilihunter hunts as well that's why I talked about it to him. Probably should have been a PM though. Anywho, so nobody else has pepper plant fascinated cats or dogs?

P.S.- This is an add on. My cat wouldn't get out my room and I couldn't get him from under the bed to save my life. I offered him a Naga though and he came right out...LMAO!!! He didn't get it though..lol!

yeah... my cat killed a bunch of my plants about a week ago... i feel your pain; my one surviving bhut is in horrible shape..

Sounds like we have 3 things in common. Love really hot peppers, hunt, and have sicko pepper destroying cats!

Cats destroy plants indiscriminately. Succulents, cactus, peppers, pot...you name it. If mine wasn't so cute I would have tossed it out the window already. Lol, even my avatar is a picture of my cat while it was out eating pepper leaves.

Hey Rabbit how goes it? How is the wife/with child? Sorry about the deer. Maybe it will survive and you will see it again. I have an idea for you if the cat keeps eating the peppers, sight your bow in on it... j/k. Good to hear from you.

I'm not ashamed either, I know hunters can relate with each other & BS w/each other, but here is a little different. it can be graphic, it is what it is "killing an animal" no sugar coating it.

as for the cat, cant stand them! but you have it already & a pet, try to give it to a family member.

Cats like plants..a lot! I have no suggestions on how to stop your cat from munching on peppers..is there a way to keep the door shut? Eliminate opportunity? I don't mind the hunting tales but others may have other opinions. I don't mind knowing where my meal comes from. Just my 2 cents.

Maybe you should spray the leaves with some pepper extract. That might condition her to leave alone the pepper plants...

Cats are goofy. We've got two of them and they got their fill of peppers the first time I hung them up. I put several B. jolokia pods on a thread and they were dangling a bit. Well that's more or less a perfect cat toy. They both walked up to "put the sniff" to them and a couple of seconds later they were 10 feet away with a look of terror on their face. Haven't had a single incident since.:)

Sorry to hear about the lost deer. Coyotes and other scavengers have to eat too.
