I never grow anything before, this is my first time..., my first try...

Date : May 19th 2018
this is my first try to germinate variations of chili pepper, a simple rockwool, with mist generator and water below, just plain water no nutrient whatsoever
still learning and watch a lot of youtube videos about growing pepper

Date : May 21st 2018
add some light using simple USB led, and heat insulator in shoes rack, just playing around waiting for seed to germinate, and waiting for my grow led to arrive

Date : May 23rd 2018
first seed to germinate, so happy!, and I just installed little grow led

Date : May 25th 2018
Building new home for my little chili, just larger container, with DIY hole and net pot on it

Date: June 1st 2018
more are growing, its so fast!

Date: June 5th 2018
add temperature and humidity sensor, and some air circulating fans (using PC fan)
and also I add perlite mixed with vermiculit on top of rockwool, since i got a green growth something like moss or I don't know, I hope this layer can block light to the moss and stop them growing

Date: June 11th 2018
Grow rate seem to be slowing, and I starting to see yellow leaf, and some brown on leaf tip, and some pots have dropped leaf, I don't know why
I don't understand is it too much water, or lack of nutrient? or too hot? too humid?

what are your temps, humidity readings? what are you feeding if anything? may be time to put in larger pots with media.

air temp 28 to 31C
water temp 26 to 28C
humidity 50 to 70% RH
feeding nutrient is "A+B Mix" i don't really know what it contains, i get from my local hydroponic store, ppm are about 400 with ph 6.8

I didn't realize this was a hydro grow which I am at a disadvantage on advice. However, the humidity on the high side is rather high and would best be kept in the low range. I am also going to go out on a limb and recommend water temps to be lower.
As far as nutrients, A&B means nest to nothing to someone not into hydro and probably the same to someone who is if not using the same line. I would highly recommend looking at the nut line and its recommended pH levels. You couls be locking out nuts if they are out of line.

ok thx for the advice, i will try to lower the humidity and make water more cool...
what is nut line btw? complete noobs here

thx

Added water circulation pump which is connected to Peltier Cooler to turn down water temperature.
now water temp slightly better I can get 7-8 Deg Celcius down from Air Temperature, on average air temperature is 30-32C, currently on average water temperature is about 23-24C, still has difficulty to turn down humidity since room air humidity is already 60-70% here

Nut line refers to what nutes, i.e fertiliser you're using. The pH level may be critical as pepper plants like a mildly acidic root environment.

Nice setup BTW! Hopefully the water chiller will sort you out

Good on you for giving it a go, mate.

You must have done a fair bit of research to build all that for yourself for the first time growing.

yeah all from youtube, and i gave it a think for a month before starting to actually did it
I am lazy person for this job, so my plan is to automate all of these after I found what the problem will arise and how to solve it, so i will say first 3-4 month is just experiment for gaining experience before actually producing something

these are controller that still in development, I have plan to control daily task by this arduino based controller

is it normal the pepper roots grow this long and big in an 1.5 Inch netpot ?
isn't she wasting those energy into growing roots?

currently top part are looking like this, (it was 10 days ago, now its even bigger, taller and dense)
it starting to flowering , a lot of them...
