This is my first time growing this variety of pepper, which is a bishop's crown type and is marketed as a capsicum baccatum. Today I noticed some sort of hairy growth on the leaves, mostly along the center vein of the leaf, ending near where the leaf joins the it's stem, on the underside of the leaf. It doesn't seem to rub off like a film or fungus. Some of the peppers I'm growing do have hairy leaves, but none look like this. I have two questions I'd love to have answers for:

- Has anyone grown this variety of pepper? and,
- Is this a normal characteristic of a baccatum?
