May be you can isolate the pod and try to create a new pepper type from it next year.

Haha. That sounds like a fun experiment but these are open pollinated with my other peppers close by so not sure how it would come out. I will be saving the seeds for sure though and probably start it early in my indoor hydro setup.

It's a Scotch Bonnet. You can't waste that. It'll likely get circumcised into pieces and cooked into something.
