Strawberry PL

Pepperlover has a new variety listed as Strawberry for 2018.  Not sure if the seeds sold for this season or if they are new for this season.  Has anyone grown it or know anything about it?  If it is a hot or super hot, I see some chocolate, sprinkles, and pissed off friends in my future cause the thing really does look like a strawberry and I really do love goofing with people.

Looking like strawberry is one thing but does it taste like it? If so, it'd make some excellent jam, whatever its heat level.

You should try asking her any questions you have. Try the contact on her site or PM her here.

I've contacted her in the past with curiosities about her stuff and she always responded to my questions.

So many thoughts.  The first is that I have only been crossing things for a short time.  Judy is like a super star in that department.  Then there is bothering her with a question about a five dollar potential sale.  Last, there is wanting the opinion of the average Joe, but mostly because she is a pepper super star.  Kind of figure since she follows THP she might see this post and chime in if she has time and interest.

BTW: Already have a friend who is going to do the chocolate strawberry thing for me so we can screw with friends.  If it turns out to be a hot pepper, we have a great joke.  If it is a sweet pepper, who knows we might have a tasty desert.

I know she is a Rockstar but she is very approachable, she hasn't let the stardom go to her.

Although she does stink a lil'...cause she is the shit.

That's the silliest thing I've ever heard. Her business is selling seeds, not yachts, I would imagine most questions are about umm seeds.

I know, I am goofy.  But on the other hand, if I ask other folk here on THP not only do I not bother her but she gets plug after plug when ever someone replies.  Besides, I am purchasing them no matter what.  The look is worth the five bucks (or what ever it is)

Looks like a strawberry shaped bonnet type, cool.

Now imagine it dipped in chocolate and sprinkles, left on a pot luck table.  This is the perfect joke waiting to happen.  I only wish it were not perishable so it could be marketed via mail.  I would be pushing the new member that makes hot pepper fudge to crank them out.

I've eaten chocolate coated candied Naga and it's genuinely delicious. Freakin' hell to cook and definitely not something that I'd want to eat unknowingly but wonderful flavour and a pleasant heat if you only eat it by the nibble.
You have to remove the placenta, so it will lose some heat in the process, but candying before chocolate coating may be the way to go if you want to preserve them. I'll try and dig up the recipe but i will say this first: the sugar makes them sweet enough already, don't use milk chocolate.

BBG Scorpion legit looks like a Strawberry. Not sure who bred it. This one looks like a small 7 pot but has the large calyx like a BBG. Perhaps similar genetics. Anyone know why newer releases of Judy don't have a description. I've found her superhots to be excellent and am hoping for some nice releases this year

My guess is she i busy with growing.  My life seems to be weeding between the rain drops right now, so I image she is just as busy if not more.
