Pepper leaves browning and drying out... please help

I had this beautiful CGN21500 plant that was growing really well here in scorching Las Vegas. I has been hot for a while but only recently my plant's leaves have started drying out and falling off. I know it could just be under watering but this plant has never once wilted. Is it possible for a plant to be under watered and not wilt? If anyone has any thoughts or ideas I would really appreciate it, I don't want to lose this plant. Thank you!!

I do typically water in the heat of the day, late afternoon or evening. The pepper loses direct sunlight before then but yes it is entirely possible that I sprayed the leaves a bit as well. My thought was that the water on the leaves was only bad if the sunlight was direct... seems I might be mistaken.

Get a bigger pot so it retains moisture longer. Maybe put some palm leaves or something around the pot to help control temps. Also I'm looking at that brick wall wondering how much extra heat is radiating from it in the day and night, I know it gets hot in the desert. Wish I could be more help. I'm sure someone with more experience in your region will chime in, good luck.

Agreed with the brick wall. I have a wall like that around my whole backyard and any plants close to it don't do well. It puts out a lot of heat. Maybe look into a shade cloth too. It really helps in hot climates

Sounds like heat/light stress is the main issue.
Also, leaves have purple midrib and stipule,
a symptom of phosphorus deficiency.
Probably from watering late in the day.
Wet soil at night inhibits P uptake.
Water earlier. I understand giving it water at peak heat, but it doesnt look like your current regimen is working. Give it shade and/or mulch to combat heat.
