fertilizer Help with fertilizer!

Hi there!

Ive been looking around at NPK levels on the fertilisers people use for their hot peppers and the all seem to differ from mine. I bought a fertiliser specified for hot peppers, it saying on the bottle (it is a liquid mineral fertilizer) to be used through out the entire growth process and the it will maximise fruit and Root growth.


NPK is 4-3-5
 


I dilute it (6ml into 2L) and use every time I water the plant


Does this sound good or is it not doing much for my plant?

it is a Swedish brand, all it says is use through out growing period ''special increase in fruit and roots''.
And yes I'm growing it in soil :)
 
N's, P's, and K's alone, don't magically increase fruits and roots.  That ratio will grow peppers. (anything reasonably close to that will)  But don't let it fool you into thinking that it will give you some special advantage over other growers.

The conditions that you give your peppers to grow in, will do far more than the nutrients.  Nutrients after all, aren't special in themselves.  They're just little molecules.  They're all the same brand.  It's far more productive to mind what media you plant in, temperature, light, humidity, etc.

What percentage calcium?  Trace elements?  Aminos?  Anything else notable about it?  Does it require use with any other product? 
 
And, all the nutrients in the world are no good if they are not readily available to the plant and/or the plant cannot uptake them.
 
 
I love nutrient discussions because I love growing and hearing others opinions.

Your growing medium needs to be accepting of the nutrients you are feeding with. Big subject with a lot of potential for argument. Best for me to say do some research on that and check PH and drainage etc.
Nutrients again, can cause arguments. Research. There are a lot of good ones out there.
As you are asking the question, tells me you have not researched enough or read feedback from other growers specifically using your product.
Find nutrients other growers are confident with.
My advice apart from above, is to not rely on one brand totally.
The take up from one product will be different to another. And therefor, varying the product will be benificial.
There are lots of ways to improve soil. Bury a kilo or more of dead fish in your holes 6 months before planting for example.
When you find a way that works well just look for small improvements.
If it was easy, why bother? Just go to the shop.
Most important, enjoy what you do.
 
I have seen this Nelson garden chili fertilizer few times in the shop and it seems to be pretty new fertilizer on the market. Also you cant find any detailed info about the product in the internet, but i bet it is fine for chili growing because Nelson garden stuff have been pretty good quality thus far.
 
 
 
Always a dilemma. New against tried and trusted.
I know which I would suggest for a new grower.
I guess the question is "is it any good?"
And the answer is "nobody knows"............yet.

So it will be around 80 litres of fertilizer with that dosage and the bottle costs about 4 euros in here.  Pretty costly stuff to use if you have more than few plants to take care of and perhaps fertilizing the plants with every other watering would be pretty good.

I only have two plants :) Yeah, I've noticed tiny brown spots on the older leaves
