Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.....I can picture it on some....................well, anything pork!

Plus, one of the best sandwiches I ever had was in a little restaurant outside Charleston, Angel Oak, I believe.  Grilled cheese and ham with a smear of hot apple butter.  Your apple pear hot sauce would do as well!

I made this today as I had some granny smith apples hanging around in my fridge, along with some red habaneros that were ready for harvesting.

The recipe was basically the same, just an extra pear used because those I had available were a little on the small side.

Very good indeed! Definitely with pork (but not limited to it), and the idea of grilled cheese and ham with this is making me think of lunch tomorrow. Camembert/brie definitely.
Next time I would maybe consider adding another two chillies, but only if I was keen - it's really good just as is.  :)

(Total amount made would be shy of 2 L / 2 qt. I ran out of lids for the bottles - always the way, so some in the freezer for bottling another day...)
