Wow! You are killing it! Everything looks outrageously delicious!

Always listen to experts. They'll tell you what can't be done and why. Then do it.        Robert Heinlein

Thanks! That octopus with aji limo and garlic aoli was seriously epic. Some of the best octopus I've ever made, without a doubt. The sauce really enhanced the octopus to the next level. Perfectly tender, not chewy whatsoever.

I like it when I have an idea for a dish, and comes out even better than I imagined😀

You should see the lunches I pack for myself every day for work! I definitely plan on rellicating that for my kid.

Tom Kha

Chicken broth, coconut milk, fresh ginger, lemon grass, and thai red curry paste broth.

Chicken thighs, Shiitake mushrooms, straw mushrooms, enoki mushrooms, bamboo shoots, baby corn, and water chestnuts for the substinence.

It's hard to take a picture of this dish, because everything is contained undernearth the delicious broth. I took this pic before ladeling a few more large scoops of broth into this bowl. Sooo good on a chilly and rainy Fall day!

Oh for sure, but my wife is convinced that galangal is bad for pregnant women. One of many things that she is avoiding.

She made us go back to the store the other day to return some chai tea to the grocery store, due to it having star anise.

Oh! Well I'm sure the ginger worked just as well, some people will swear they are the same anyway. ;)

Yeah, it worked out pretty well. It's interesting the way every culture has it's own wives tales about pregnancy.

My wife was telling me the other day about how it's recommended in Vietnamese culture for the woman not to bathe, and follow this strict regimen for a whole month postpartum😲

Funny how she never brought this up to me, until she was entering her second trimester!

IDK if she is going to follow this regimen to a T, but I know her mom was talking to her about it the other day...
