wanted Beginner looking for trustworthy seeds or seedlings for the following

I'm looking to procure the following seeds or seedlings for my 1st foray into the indoor gardening of exotic peppers. If you have these for sale or have a good line on where to find trustworthy seeds and vendors please let me know as I plan to order on September 1. Bhut Jolokia, Trinidad Moruga scorpion and any of these 3 habaneros, the large white habanero, Yellow sun or scotch bonnet yellow.

My advice is to take a deep breath and digest what it takes to grow indoors over the winter.

You're posting about getting started now, I may have to go with seeds then. I was just looking for the path of least resistance towards getting things off the ground but concede that easier isn't necessarily better., enthusiasm is great - disappointment not so much.

Lighting, IMO, is #1 for long term. Most plants, especially veggies, need a certain # of lumens to survive & a much higher # to have them prosper along with produce fruit that ripen to maturity. What-cha-gut?

Another item is space for the grow area - lights - fan - pots or hydroponic - yada-yada... Planned that out?

I'm not trying to be negative....... Just practical........

Oh, last but not least, I believe in the few posts you've left - your disability not a detriment to your ability to do this.... Just don't want you to go all gung-ho and due to disappointment become disillusioned. Growing hot peppers can be fun & rewarding - can also be frustrating and disillusional.

YMMV - NECM

Just because I'm only now posting in the hot pepper does not mean that I just began this as a pipe dream yesterday. I have been researching and researching and researching. As far as what I got… 3.5 gallon kitty litter buckets modified to hold plants as well as insert for air hose for oxygenating the water. I have ordered three quarts of Flora series nutrients, a kingbo 600 watt LED grow light, A 32" x 32" x 63 in reflective mylar grow tent Is the route I'm taking just to begin with.

As a poison dart frog breeder of 5 years I am no newbie when it comes to dealing with frustrating project issues. It takes dedication, education and responsibility and as far as my disability goes, that's not something that will be a hindrance for me and I'm trying to wrap my head around why somebody would speak on that without knowing anything about my situation other than the small amount I have posted and to be clear I post about my disability because I'm proud of how much I've overcome and not to have my ability to do what everybody else does because of it.

Thank you for the concern but I am a 41-year-old man with a team of personal assistants and 2 teenage daughters that will be managing the project with me. You're probably asking yourself if I know so much and why am I waiting until so late in the season to begin and that's because putting together the money to do this properly takes time and it's at that point in the process which I find myself now.

QBE, I don't think TNECM meant any disrespect to your circumstances, he was just trying to emphasize how hard it is, for anyone, to get peppers to produce indoors.

Sure it's easy to get them to grow, but being able to get a decent harvest for the effort it takes is quite hard, but not impossible.

Keep us updated with your progress, and feel free to ask for advice when it is needed. You should document your grow with a Glog.

Best of luck mate, and  :welcome: from Australia.

You sound passionate enough, and I suspect you have the dedication.

If you wanna send me a private message with your address, I'll help you get a seed collection started.

Once you have a small collection started, trading for new types will become common place here.

BTW those lambchops are sick!  :metal:
