[Sep 3] What are you working on this week?

Making kimchi jjigae today. Been awhile and my kimchi should be really ripe now. :D
 
Need mirin and a few other things from the market.
 
Picking, freezing and drying a lot more peppers.
 
Pops wants more super low pH hot sauce with a double dose of ghost this time.
 
Seed inventory and a couple trades.
 
Harvest the last of the seeds i wanted to save.
 
Probably make another half gallon of burr gherkin chips. Last batch is half gone already.  :eek:
 
The yearly usual and of course, CHILI-CON. The later is a given from now on.
 
Oh, and making sure the sump pump does not stop. We are having a deluge here in N. Illinois. This one advantage to container grows is they will drain off excess water  better than ground grown plants.
 
I'm going to brave the mosquitos, and go pick some peppers and veggies in the garden. My rocotos and aji amarillos are starting to ripen up in bulk, as they always do this time of year. There are also a of of artichokes and eggplant that need to be harvested.

I'm going to an ultrasound appointment with the Mrs. to meet with our OBGYN this morning. It's going to be our first glimpse of our baby. I'm really exited about that.

The Mrs. and I will be making tamales together this evening, since she has been craving them. She wants green chile chicken, I want red chile pork. IDK which we'll go with, or maybe both. Either way, tamales will be made and eaten

That makes it easier to plan and decorate the baby’s room.
My son and DIL didn’t want to find out the sex of their baby, so the color of everything for the baby was gray. Again Congrats [emoji324]
