Kitchen Nightmares - Pookie gets a new kitchen

That tile is actually called basket weave lol! Everyone loves the backsplash.

Not sure yet on the sauces. Wide is better than deep so you can find stuff easily so maybe far left cab middle/top shelves.

That's it??? I figured it would be 'the refrigerator wall' or 'the stove wall'.

No criticism here. Truely, the workmanship looks spot on. It was the pic with the packing blanket under the tools that told me the most. Woke tradespeople are few these days it seems. (I like to say WOKE).

One thing... and I NEVER say this.... I love your color choices! I do a lot of gad-awful weirdness that people come up with but that's just my personal choice. You and I have very similar taste it seems. Warm and semi-formal without being gaudy.

Smaller areas are trickier to layout but far more efficient and you don't have to spend a ton of money on nicer materials meaning, you can get nicer stuff because you don't need a lot of it. I really am happy for you and I know you have had to live with it that way for a long time. The teasing probably didn't help and I should apologize if I ever went too far with that. In the end tho, you won!

Way to go boss!

That picture of the fucked up hexagon with hexagon tile gives me seizures. Thanks for that!

Just "scoville" now? :mope:

The tile looks good to me! Time for another re-wine.... :Drunk:.

My bathroom was in worse condition than pookies kitchen. Finally got it all redone. Still haven't taken a bath in the $800soaking tub....But it's nice to know I can!

I read that back and realized I called you scoville not scovie I think it means you are not here enough

Thanks, the kitchen rocks and appreciate the compliments. I like to keep it warm but mix in cool (wood and metal) and I think this came out looking modern but warm (those all-white modern kitchens are too much!)...

At least your bathroom was functional, you didn't need boots and a flashlight to go to the bathroom!

When is the kitchen warming party?
