Back throat burning peppers

As a beginner, I would like to grow peppers which gives heat on back of the mouth-throat (not on the lips, tongue dirctly), also which ones gradually build heat.
Any suggestion is welcomed fo mild ,hot or extreme hot peppers.

Bhut jolokia are slow burning for me.  But you'll still feel the burn forward of the throat.  They are also very prolific for me.  Chocolate or peach (or yellow or red or white or caramel!).

Reaper for strong back of the throat burn.

Ghost for a slow-building heat.

Carbonero is a good one with a gradual build-up in the habanero heat range, in case you want to try something a little milder. It has really good flavor too.

I have Carolina Reaper dry powder to add to my Jalapeno fermented souce when is done, I started 2 days ago. Maybe I start topic about that, or not.
Never heard about Carbonero , so this is great, I try to grow some next year. Is ther any other pepper like that one ?
Thank you all for fast reply, now I want to learn more, this is great.

Get some Pam cooking spray.

Spray the back of your throat before eating the pepper. Once you eat it, the capsaicin oils will bind with the Pam oils creating a heat like no other. You want tongue burn? Same. Spray your tongue. Really!

I think any superhot is gonna mess up the back of your throat to be honest. For me the throat burn is the absolute worst kind.
