Storing sauce in the freezer?

I'm not really talking about the sauce you need to get at the right pH, but more of the 'normal' ones that you just kind of 'throw' together. Does anyone store them in the freezer? If so, does it degrade the quality at all? Made an order for a bunch of peppers and was planning on making different hot sauces, pickling some and then drying them.
Thanks!

Hi Phormic   :welcome: to THP
I have stored some homemade sauces in the freezer for up to a year with good results. I usually make mini batches of just 2 or 3 bottles that keep fine in the fridge, but when I make a larger batch I will freeze some of it in half pint mason jars. If you're short on freezer space, you can put it in ziplock bags and store it flat. Sometimes the color will change a bit but I have not noticed any loss of flavor or heat.

freezing works great.  Just like frozen tomato sauces or frozen soups.
