Hi Jeff,
 
I am tracking the package '9405803699300726395442'. It  is supposed to be delivered today and it shows delivered. 
But I don't see the package in my mail box. I waited till end of the day but still nothing.
 
This happened before and the package was actually delivered the next day that it was marked as 'Delivered'. 
I will wait till tomorrow to go into full blown panic mode. Will keep you updated.

Let me know after tomorrow’s mail cycle. If it still doesn’t show up I’ll file a search request. They record the GPS of the delivery person at each scan.

That happened to me too, a couple of months ago. Package delivered 24 hours after they said it was. Hopefully the A train arrives safely today. Fingers crossed...
 
Wooho.. Got the package in hand. Caught the mail man/woman in action. When asked about delivered status, she gave me this..

My community has grouped mailing boxes. Not one infront of each home. Looks like she scans all the packages in the van and then places them into each box. With so many holiday packages being delivered, She missed placing mine.
