Using butter in hot sauce

IIRC if you have dairy or meat in a sauce it must be pressure canned to be shelf stable.  
 
Butter, dairy, meats and oils are critical factors. I found some approved BBQ sauce recipes that can be BWB. It is strongly recommended to use approved recipes unless you have the recipe tested by the food lab people. I will link in a little bit.
 
Edit....Will look for wing sauces also. Not sure what kind of hot sauce has butter.
