seeds Removing seeds from placenta after dry/mostly dry

Hello there, figured I'd drop a line in here to ask about how to go about isolating seeds after all removed and dried out? I have trays and trays of cores where I just popped the whole placenta out of the peppers seeds and all intact, but how to separate the seeds effectively at this point? Wish I had went and fermented the cores at this point instead of being stuck with these seeds bound the to placenta in large numbers.. They've sat weeks btw. I also have a dehydrator if that would help at 95deg or so to crisp up the gummy placenta that binds the seeds..

put on those paper plates , be sure to write the name on the plate , put em on a shelf and forget them for 3 ,4 weeks ,
It's been at least 4weeks, and yeah I learned the labeling after trial and error lol.. But yeah they're still bound at the where the taproot comes out or the seed-where it's connected to the placenta..placebta still pliable but seeds are bone dry

Put gloves on, rub them between your fingers... seeds should fall right out.
Yeah tried that, Worked on some not all though :-/ especially the tightly bound Chinese like reaper and jpgs..

That’s a ton of seeds. Wow! How did you get the placentas to come out whole?

Skillful scissor work my friend! Lol. That's only about half of just that one strain! I quit saving the seeds after that..

I always just roll the placenta around between my fingers, and the seeds just fall off.

Of course, I usually do that after they have naturally air dried over the winter.

Never thought of using scissors. It looks like a lot of seeds for sure.

I let the placenta completely dry in a Aji Largo Rocoto before prying the seeds loose this fall. I know this doesn't apply to the Anuums, Chinense, Baccatum, etc., but the seeds in a Pubescen really want out wet. They lay so tight against the placenta that there seems considerable bonding by the time it's fully dehydrated.

I broke about half the seeds trying to pry them loose.

I have noticed this effect myself.. That's why I almost thought of rehydration for a few lol
