tomato dust on peppers

one of the reasons I'm curious is because I have some Yates tomato dust and it says that (apart from other things) it is good for treating mites

I have used it before, last year i think, may have been the year before. i found it to be fine, didn't harm my plants, and also kept the Aphids away from my trial plants.

I intend on using it this year. As i have aphids hitting my smaller plants already......

In the past I used some kind of dust to keep the blister beetles away and didn't hurt anything that I put it on.

Yes some in the commercial growing industry in the U.K use this method and apparently very affective and cuts costs down if you produce Tomatoes anyway and then use on your other Vegetable crops
a nice Organic method indeed :(

An old guy near me makes his own grinds it..Admittedly he adds wild garlic for a great combo,My cousin is a commercial tomato and grows
some other Vegetables including some peppers he just added some garlic powder and says it works a treat,One of those you should listen to your peers type of moments when i spent a fortune on aphid control :)

I tried dusting my plants this year for Aphid control and it seemed to work well. The only problem I found was the duster I have sucked! Therefore, I switched to liquid spray that I could use a garden sprayer with. Then came along the ladybugs and I stopped using everything and life was good.

I have millions of ladybugs all over my tomatoes and chillis so I am afraid to use any dry or wet chemicals.....But if the bugs get to bad I might have to....

The tomato dust does sounds like a good idea
