Yep.. Just gotta stay in da zooone.

Kid polished off pieces of pecan and blueberry pies with ice cream and hhwhipped cream. I had one bite of each and my sugars are going off the charts. It's worth it!

I didn't cook a traditional turkey spread today. The Fam went to Cypremont Point and that left me in vacation mode so I'll drink alone and have been enjoying the day.

The menu was easy then it expanded once I got to the store. I went to get stuff to make roasted oysters my way. It's like oysters Bienville. So the menu expanded too:
Oysters
shrimp
a killer artichoke/crab/shrimp dip that you can bake and make an Au Gratin
smoked ribs both pork and beef
And turkey wings since it's Turkey day.

I even cooked two small pans of that 30 day friendship cake, I haven't even touched it yet but it smells good.

I'm just posting pics that happened along the way, it's too much to detail every pic.

I do the cuts so that I can marinate it well.
Also, I keep basting it every now and then with the left over marinade to make sure it does not dry out.

It sure does make for a good presentation.

One lesson learnt this time is that I need to cover the tips of wings and drumsticks with foil in order to avoid them burning.
I learnt it the hard way when I did the chicken for kids. Implemented the workaround for other chicken dish.

Thanks for participating!
