You guys are soooooooooo screwed. I didn't give up on my "fried" seeds. I gave them water instead of throwing them out. 100% of my original plantings have germinated successfully. I must be the greatest gardener in the world. Can't kill plants even when I try.
Sorry about that, I forgot to activate yours until just a couple days ago. You should be experiencing normal growth algorithms...for now...

Alright gentlemen, looks like I'm still in the game!

I almost feared, that not one would germinate but here we are

Im fairly skeptical right now, I have 4 in seed starter soil and 4 in Super Starter plugs for 16 days now and still nothing. [emoji3525] I will give them some more time, but annums are usually not that slow.

Hold on...sending activation command now. It's coming back saying you didn't get the temperature just right for a successful triggering of growth. What have your temps been?

My stallions so far:

I've been banished to the cold garage this year, and my ghetto grow "box" isnt keeping them as warm as I'd like... but itll do for now!
Monsters!

Guru, the improper temp might have been the error for my seeds  :shh:

I thought my heat mat would keep up a little better on my screened/enclosed back porch than it did. They were wedged between the house and inflatable hot tub, so it was warmer than surrounding air, but not enough. I had a little more space there than I had on the side desk that I used last year, which had gotten piled up with kid's schoolwork. My laziness catches up with me in the form of a germ rate of 0 after 2 weeks

Did a little moving around, and within hours I started seeing hooks. First to hook of the entire round was from the original pod, with one for the growdown somewhere in the middle of what I've got right now.

Still only 1/3 up for growdown, but it's only been about 36 hours at temps above 70  ;)

I haven't tested, but in case anyone uses Linux:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:GuruCommandCenter
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install StartGermination -F

There might be a ./configure --enable-germination or something in there too

Well, Ubuntu, anyway... but why bother setting up a PPA if you're not even distributing binaries? Come on, Guru, you might as well just throw it up on GitHub.

Heat is set at 82f.
Theres your issue. These were programmed for activation at 84-86F. Bump it up a few degrees and youre golden.

Also, Walchit PMd me asking about pheno and which to cherish for the purpose of the grow down. I believe any phenos that are the skinnier leaf shape will be the ones we want, as opposed to the pheno that puts out a fatter leaf. We wont know for sure until I see flowers and the first pod.

I thought (for a change) about the LED route, and from past experience with photo-shock when transferring from sprout room to windowsill or outside, I'm going natural light only. The only stunting I'll be dealing with then is when I transplant into that wonderful Chinese space farm platform.....

I had two that were up this morning, one in dirt and one in a Super Starter plug. The one in the Super Starter plug is already in the juice sucking up the steroids........its fly or die time. I will likely pot up the one in seed starter soil tomorrow and begin hitting it with the magical juice. I set the temperature at 85 this afternoon so will see if any more pop. So, I may be in if the phenos are correct later on and if not, I am out.
