Glad to see, mine comes tomorrow cuz FF aint cutting it. Need my seedings in house to speed up before NJ trip in 2 weeks
Which fox farms nutes are you using? I have some but haven't tested them yet. I hate changing things if it ain't broke..

So.. This is my plant. It may not be as big as the others around here but.. this one wants to bloom and put some fruits out already. Its still cold out side. Please suggest me what to do.

Grow big one, plants aint liking it much
You'll be happy with the dyna gro products. It's a really solid nutrient line. Go on the low end of the recommended feeding though. The grow formula recommends 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon per gallon at every watering. I do 1/4 per gallon every week for my peppers and they love it.

Um, dummy here, asking the obvious. If an Anuum and Chinense cross, is it still an Anuum? It depends on which plant hosts the blossom, right?

But if it has all the outward characteristics of a Chinense, like these so far are manifesting...?

...and who's to say that your overambitious pollinator bees didn't make the rounds from several donator plants? Just how many possibilities are there that a dozen of us with crosses have differing crosses?

This could turn out to be a pan-generational phenomenon, just because the Guru couldn't keep his Sri Lankan panties on..... :high:

Perhaps in 10 years I will be able to come back and answer this question with more authority, however, for now, suffice it to say...mother nature is capable of all sorts of things.

Besides, my panties were only small enough for a few iso pods, the lot of you get the experiments! Muahahahahah yes do my evil bidding!

I guess I deserve that...

But this plant will grow taller and stronger than the corn which made the tortilla it feeds off

Nothing beats just sowing directly into some chicharrones though...

It would be an interspecific hybrid I believe, such as a mule.(donkey x horse) Same genus different species. These are much more commonly infertile due to larger genetic gap.

Where an INTRAspecific hybrid would be same species different "sub species". Such as a bloodhound/poodle mix. Both animals are same species, but genetic lines are true enough to show hybridization. These are usually much more likely to produce fertile offspring.

Does any of that make sense? :D

In theory

Today was the first warm day in a long time.  Hopefully we are starting to turn the corner toward spring.  Those of you with plants outside are making me jealous!!

Probably not. Just doing some basic varieties. Gonna be getting back into chili cookoffs and since my recipe was developed with basic varieties easily found at grocery stores that's mainly what I'll be growing. I put an insane amount of peppers in a 10 gallon batch and it gets pretty expensive. I'll still have a few other cool varieties going but nothing like last year.

Is there anyone besides me with plants outside?

I have one outside in the ground. A few more in the wings until after this latest cold front passes..
