Ah, I don't use PayPal, so if I forget to say it in a PM, I said it here, so I didn't really forget, to say it.

Yeah, buddy! Will try to isolate some pods, too.

The way it is setting them, it should be easy

to isolate a branch later on.

PT with bonus photo!

Just thought I would post pics of pods on 4 of the Sri Lanka Chili Red plants.

This one is growing them upwards with a curve in them(and they are a little strange looking):

Top view of that same plant:

On this one they are pointing down and squatty:

This one has the standard skinny/long pods:

This one also has long thin pods:

I have three more plants and all of them seem to be just slightly different although all but one has the narrow leaves.

Interesting cross shape there! rounded tips! interested in seeing that one when ripe!

HA! Color change :) Think maybe Charapita got him some of that booty

Hmmm, seems those gals and guys were a bit promiscuous :shh:

Well I know one is true, and the other 2 need to get some size

My plants are still behind and are in desperate need of potting up.  But, here is the latest shot.  The one of the left still demonstrating a more chinense growth pattern.

Why didn't any of mine have that variegation?  I'm jealous.

Indeed, it is, Guru! Contest plant out of the
heeled-in pot and into the 18-gallon container.

Game over 😉

I'm still here, still in this. Got busy, my plants aren't huge, but are getting there. Especially after my large near kill-off thanks to dogs.

Also, my growdown plant and one other of the original chili red are my only plants that suddenly ended up with aphids... gah!

They actually seemed to disappear pretty quickly when I moved them to a different spot. There must be some beneficial bug around doing the hard work for me.

Now to move it to it's final, much larger home...

That's a nice, healthy plant, Liz! Soon those lateral

branches are going to shoot out and make a nice

bush for you!

Death to aphids  :flamethrower:

So far it's a toss up between the pic above and the one on the right. The pods are the right shape.

Below is a pod from the plant on the left. Guru asked about this..
