Aight...so a few seasons off and I think I'm finally starting to get dialed in. I have been running some pretty intense LED/CFL lighting systems 24 hrs just opening the tent during the day to keep the temps on point...some of the plants have been looking pretty good, but others pretty rough no matter what I tried. I backed off the lighting schedule to 14 pm and 10 off...moved the lights all the way up to the top of the tent...and boom. we have lift off.

The tallest/smallest so far the Tepins are out climbing the competition...there are tons of tiny pods in my future.

Douglahs are finally starting to pick up steam, they have been a PIA thus far, but now I'm certain I'll get some awesome chocolate brown nuclear heat from these this season...

Looking great STC. Nice to see that fan in the video working air through that thick jungle canopy. That first og bhut is growing so aggressively up top it reminds me of an eggplant.

Keep up the good - and I hope plant out isn't too far away for ya!

Unfortunately I've had no luck with the old seed stock yet. Still gonna try a few more things.

I should try that too. Now that I don't have any
more space, they should germinate pretty well.

80 then 29...then 75...31...

Hay bales are starting to look ready for peppers...

Just some Kale for now though...couple more weeks until plant out.

The starts are outgrowing thier shoes...so I did some potting up...

Had to move some to the work bench for now...

Here are some more in their natural habitat...no frost in the 10 day...and only one night in the 40's so they may be able to stay out. We shall see.

Some more that made the move. All but a couple of the the Annuums, Baccatums.and tomatoes are outside for now. ..

This Tepin is going to be an awesome plant...already bushing out like crazy without any topping or training.

Hope this does a little better...This is the little mystery I'm calling "twilight zone" for now. Came from a pack of Numex Twilight seeds, and I can't remember ever growing a plant quite like this little guy. Definitely chinense in appearance, but so tiny and compact. stacking leaf on leaf. I have grown both Charapita and Wild Brazil before...but I don't remember them growing like this to start out with...thoughts? I can't wait to see the flowers and fruit.

Plants looking solid there and very healthy. Chocolate Bhutlah...nice touch and a lil jealous (aphids killed mine last year) :hot:

why the ornamental jigsaw? Are they that nice to look at during the year?
Im one of those people that if you cant eat the pepper why have it kinda thing

The main reason is my wife likes them in the garden, so it helps her put up with the rest of my plants. They aren't inedible and most ornamental peppers are pretty hot and make decent pepper flake with a little added garlic and onion.

Gotta keep the wife happy; 80% of the garden is for her. And then there's the Pineapples..LOL. I finally have her loving the peppers, not the hotter ones, but some respectable heat here and there. We certainly give less a way now..
