Red Habs finally showing themselves, fear theirs not enough time for them to ripen, 6 weeks growing season left ( unless weather normalizes).
Lots of "Big Bomb" peppers on.
Serrano's glowing in the Morning Sun.

Some critters.
This is the 3rd or 4th Ladybug Ive seen this year, last year their were too many to count. Hiding under leaf.

Hey Neil, I hear ya on the season woes, I just went ahead and container grew EVERYTHING this year knowing if I wanted anything looking like a harvest my garden would have to come in the house. Last year our first hard frost was two weeks from today. I expect similar this year, it already has the smell and feel of another early autumn.

As much as I want to do all container growing inside, the Aphids have won each time. New experiment in placing Garden Thyme all over to deter them is on going so see what happens.

I hear ya, though my aphid/pest woes have been nothing compared to some. I have a sickly Rocoto in the house now that manifested an infestation, and another (in a completely seperate room) that has no bugs whatsoever. But I was more thinking in the way of growing outside/finishing inside, which I have no choice but to do if I want ripe pods some seasons.

I have four peppers on the porch and theirs def been Aphids their earlier, these four have had no Aphids so far, the Thyme right next to them, (the two small brown pots are the other two)
SO propagating more Thyme.

No Aphids, No Ladybugs this year, saw total of three if I recall (ladybugs). Lodes of them last year (Ladybugs).

What vendor did you get your Big Bomb seeds from? They are different than the Big Bombs I have grown.
