2019 the year of the Scotch Bonnet

I have more than enough SB seeds now, way more than I have room to grow for, so I decided to create a poll to let you people help me in selecting the most interesting varieties! :)

I'm not going to start my grow just yet, that will have to wait for somewhere in February. That is, if I can wait that long! :D

I want to limit my grow to 10 varieties. I can stretch this to 12 if absolutely neccessary but I prefer not to.

So let me know what you think!

Got my first hook in less than a week time! :woohoo: it's a SB7J!
And I think there's one of the Black River Red's coming up also, although I can't see it very well yet...
Good deal, things moving rapidly. Just remember, pics or...................you know the drill.

Pics are mandatory, so here they are! :D

Yesterday still hooks, today they are already well developed plants!

Err no  :liar: , those above are the Mallorcan heirlooms (Tap De Cortí and Cirereta but which is which...?)

Below are the new seedlings, both grown from seeds I got from Trident... thanks! :)

The SB7J :

The Black River Red Scotch Bonnet :

For now these are the only ones that are showing any life so the impatience has to continue a bit longer...

I wonder if this could be a chinense considering the shape of the leaves... that would probably mean this must be the Cirereta as the Tap De Cortí is definitely an annuum...

This morning I found another SB7J together with a Papa Dreadie and a Scotch Brains!  Who said Papa Dreadie doesn't germinate easily? ;)
Funny actually, yesterday evening there was no sign of any of those seedlings and now they are suddenly there! Seems like they mostly grow during the night hours...

One of my mallorcan plants got damaged this morning while moving the plants under the large lighting fixture. A box fell on top of it and the stem broke right above one of the lowest true leaves. It'll probably recover just fine but I wouldn't really care if it did not. I want to focus on the SBs as much as possible :)

:pics: yeah, probably later today! ;)

I've got at least one hook for all my bonnets except for the stuffing scotch bonnet. But I'm more than happy with the result already! :)
I also have 2 hooks for the PDNxBMJ purple. No PDNxBMJ white yet though...

It's a bit hard to take pictures of the seedlings in my current setup. The cover is stuck between the lamp fixture and the propagator. I can only take it off sideways but that means risking to damage the small seedlings and that is of course something I want to avoid.

The glass bowl on the left back side contains tiny venus fly trap seedlings. Those are grown by my daughter :)

Great germinating, Marc, y'all rollin' now! Sorry to hear
about the Mallorcan. There will be a branch at every leaf
still on the stalk, so a nice, bushy plant to look forward to!

These guys are buggers, my aero setup is perfect on multiple fronts and they arent popping on mine either

That was intended as innuendo. ;)

I'm only on my second season growing; you won't catch me jumping on someone's technique unless they've done something truly, painfully obvious (like leaving the bleach or chlorine out of their hydro nutes).
