Peter Stanley - 2019 grow log

This is sort of update 0, as I haven't finalized which peppers I'm growing yet. But I show a rough list and some ongoing projects I have in the basement. I'll post another update when I start seeds in a week or so.
Here's the rough, working list of the seeds I'm starting so far. I'll probably change it around a little before I start them.

Is that a mint (Bee Balm) In the third picture bottom Left?
Nope, it's a semi-succulent, Plectranthus amboinicus, has a number of different names. The person who gave a cutting to me called it Witch Oregano, but I've also seen it listed as Cuban and Puerto Rican Oregano, Spanish thyme, Indian borage, and Mexican mint, and a few others. Some types are variegated. It is in the mint family, but not related to Oregano.  It's very easy to propagate, can get huge too.

You have a jungle in your basement, Peter!

Really like your DIY AeroGarden set-up, very creative.

Do I see a big Kratky jar in your future? ("Discovery" pic.)

Always good to see what's going on there.

Thanks, Paul. Yes, I'm thinking the 1/2 gallon wide mouth jars would be great for growing several types of plants. I have some Basil growing in a couple of them now.  I knew the 3-inch net pots worked but just discovered the small 8 oz Styrofoam cups do as well. I have a bunch of those already set up with wicks.

Just watched your most recent video. I'm definitely building one for seed starting next year. I always look forward to your videos, you've helped me learn a lot! Because of you, I'm going to be doing 4 55 gallon outdoor Kratky grows this year. Just wanted to thank you, keep the videos coming.

Thanks, I really appreciate your kind words. Good luck with your large scale Kratky grows, that'll be awesome!
