Nice job brotha, I like the custom hydro setup. Theyre easy to make and work nice cuz lets face it, no one wants to buy 3 or 4 Aerogardens
Put down the pot and pick up the pod

Following along... I appreciate the content you put up here and on YouTube. You're a credit to the chile community, Peter.

You are entering the buttocks with the spicy hand of Chinese pepper? And pleasure from this low pepper? I am not sure but the scorpion pepper musk when raw, is the sexual experience. This is granted, and evident in the taste, and the woman jealous.

Good luck! Been watching your youtube videos and really enjoying them.

I have to grow most of my peppers indoors due to limited space in my apartment. Do you think the aerogarden is worth the purchase? Considering it

Thanks. I think AeroGardens have their pros and cons. If you're growing peppers I'd go with the Bounty model. Sometimes you can get them on sale for less than 200. You can build your own version much cheaper, but it won't look as nice. If you have a spouse, that might be a factor. The AeroGrow company is very good for support and stands by their products. I have very old AeroGardens I've gotten at Goodwill that still work fine. They're excellent for seed starting, and transplanting to other systems too.

Pepper grow update #2 for 2019. Most of my seeds have popped, still waiting on a few.

Nice to see the success you're having with the Agarden Peter...I  bought  a new Bounty Elite recently as the price was right.

I've been reading some postings  elsewhere from folks who were starting seeds,

and wanted to ask you your opinion   as I only plan on using  mine

to germinate seeds.

Re:the liquid fertlizer  prior to germination?

And also the use of the pump...should that be going while waiting for germination?

Thanks Peter...I do enjoy your videos.

Thanks for watching! You could leave out the nutes for germination. AeroGarden suggests using a 1/2 dose of theirs. For these, I used a weak solution of MasterBlend, Epsom Salt and Calcium Nitrate at 200 ppm. I think it might help acclimate them to adding more nutrients when needed. I've germinated in stronger solutions before, it's counter-intuitive, but they came up fine. Personally, I think you could go either way. A lot of folks will germinate in water only and add nutes later.

Regarding the pump on the Bounty. If you take the default settings, the Bounty pump will not run continuously during the germination phase. This is fine. It oxygenates the water enough. It does run longer as your growing time increases. You can manually override the settings have it run continuously though, but It's not necessary. I have an older model AG Led Harvest, and it only runs for five minutes every hour. There's no way to change it. But it works fine.

Peter, Im going to do a few plants in hydro this summer as that seems to produce the most viable pollen for crosses. I used to use sensi grow and bloom. Are there any other nutrient lines you would recommend that are maybe cheaper? I tend to get runty pods indoors

Have your tried Dyna-Gro 7-9-5? It's relatively inexpensive, around 50/gallon, more if buying in smaller amounts, but a little lasts a long time. They make a bloom formula, but I use the 7-9-5 for everything. I've used it the last two years with my drip system with good results. I've used it indoors a lot too and in my AeroGarden. I've tried Flora Nova grow and bloom, and like those too. They are very sludgy and don't seem to mix as well, but the results have been good. The Masterblend, Epsom Salt, and Calcium Nitrate cocktail works great also but is a lot more work to mix, but it's super, super cheap.

Thanks Peter, for what its worth. I do a 30 gal res with several 5 gal dwc pots with bubble disks and a small fountain pump continuously cycling nutrients/water

Sorry for the late response, the Dyna would last a long time for that.
