Why are my plants in my AeroGarden having burnt edges in their first set of cotyledons.

Lol i think he was funning you. Cotyledons are the seed leaves. The next set is the first true leaves. So, you don't have to specify first set of cotyledons. There's only one.
Looks like nutrient burn. Not too serious. Also, noticeable on the back plant, the first true leaves have slightly discolored tips pointing down. Your nutrient solution was probably a little too strong for new seedlings.
