Ive just been called sad and laughed at by the GF for joining a forum on chillies haha just said Im obsessed

Hey Addy, how's it going?  I always liked the Dorset Naga and have grown one pretty much every year for quite a while. Nothing spectacular about it I suppose, but it's always been a strong, fast growing, well-producing, dependable pepper for me.  Solid blue-collar super hot.

No great pics, but here's one at 4 weeks from my current grow.  Nothing more recent because it was culled for space.

Here's a couple on my back deck with some pods from September 18. Both these were OW's and will be again.

I grew Naga Morich in 2017. My one Naga plant in 2018 didn't grow true, but I grew some of Gary M/ Windchicken's Forbing Naga, which is basically a NagaBrain.... I don't think I have any pics handy, but I really liked his the Naga Morich grew and produced.

In 2019, i'm definitely growing Naga Morich and probably a few NagaBrain variants. I'm especially stoked to try the Yellow NagaBrain. But, if I had to choose one, of go with the original Naga Morich. Great plants, great chiles..

Cool side shot. Looks like a nice compact plant with a dense canopy.

Oh, I have 2 dorset naga yellow in my grow. Strong plants. Some of the thickest stalks in the bunch.

I had to remove leaves on it so I could find all the pods that were ripe.
Trying to hand pollinate all the flowers on that thing... uh, forget about it.

That was the one plant my g/f jokingly said that I gave it more attention than her.

 I'm using some of those air pots. Looks like you bottom watered them. I'll look through the old glog.
I did not bottom water them at all during the season, top feeding only..the trays are just to collect the extra fertilizer mixture.

Addy198 apologies I am late to this thread. I assume you have seed of the Dorset Naga created by Joy and Michael Sea Spring Seeds down in Dorset. If you visit that site all the information about the variety and photos are there. There is also a Bengle Naga which they also sell seed of. They grow in containers in poly tunnels as do I, have you a greenhouse or a south facing area outside that would be a good sun trap. I am not sure how much space you have but the larger the container the larger the plant

They have a link where you can see a Naga with hundreds of pods

Good luck ..

Thanks for your response, I actually have got Naga Morich seeds, I will look into that website and may buy some more seeds . I currently have a small grow area but moving out in April so will hopefully have a greenhouse dedicated for chillies, if the girlfriend lets me haha, thanks for the info.

Adam they have a good choice of seeds but please dont buy off EBay if you look here on the threads you will find recommendations of seed suppliers. The boss recommended Jamaican Hot Chocolate if you drop me a PM with your address I will send you some seed

The young seedlings... when you next pot on do so right up to the base of the first true leaves. The long stem will then produce roots and make the plant stronger. Are you using an artificial/supplementary lighting to aide growth
