Shishto Peppers at supermarket

Uses super thin sliced rings.
On some sushi rolls.
mrs. blues favorite is the Speechless Roll.
It comes topped with them.
I like to be liking them.
She scrapes them off and gives them to me.
The internet menu doesn't even list them on that roll.
And the ones that they do.
They list as jalapenos.
They are not.
At first I thought they were serranos.
But the walls are much thinner.
With about the same heat as serranos.
Good chiles.
If I could get them.
I'd eat them.

TB most of the shishitos I've had do not approach jalapeno heat much less serranos. Next time you go to Edoko please grab me out some seeds of that pepper and we'll trade for em. 
Sorry, but those are almost certainly not shishito. They're not consistently spicy; most have no heat at all.texas blues said:
I toss mine in oil with some onions and broil/bake until they just start to blister. Little salt and/or garlic is fine too. Maybe 1 in 10-12 has about the heat of a lower end jalapeno.
